Astro, Bukit Jalil — VRV Installed Under Daikin's Own Inspection

Ten indoor units on two condensing units — installed by CASS, then independently inspected and commissioned by Daikin Malaysia.

Client

A national Malaysian broadcaster, at its Technology Park Malaysia campus in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. Office and meeting-room areas.

Challenge

A corporate office floor requires independent zone control across meeting rooms and open office areas that are occupied on different schedules, delivered within a working media-company campus. VRV was specified to provide multi-zone control from consolidated outdoor plant.

Solution

A Daikin VRV A system: two condensing units — one 12HP master (RXQ12AYM) and one 10HP slave (RXQ10AYM) — serving ten indoor fan-coil units (eight FXFQ50AVM, two FXFQ63AVM) across all served areas.

Execution

Installed and commissioned by CASS as appointed Daikin installer, with Daikin Malaysia conducting independent installation-quality inspection and witnessing testing and commissioning on site.

Commissioning was documented to Daikin's VRV Installation Quality Management standard, with recorded operating data captured per condensing unit: suction and discharge pressures, ambient and pipe temperatures, three-phase running amperage, supply voltage, and additional refrigerant charge (9.5 kg).
